His Excellency Salem Rashid Al Maftoul Al Ali, a member of the Federal National Council, paid a friendly visit yesterday to the headquarters of the Dubai Charity Association. This meeting embodied the keenness of national leaders to enhance communication and support the pioneering path of charitable and community work in the country.
Upon his arrival at the association's headquarters, he was welcomed by Mr. Ahmed Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Association, and Mr. Adil Mattar, Board Member. The association's officials welcomed His Excellency the Member and his accompanying delegation, consisting of Mr. Yaqoub Al-Shumaili and Mr. Ahmed Al-Hammadi, appreciating this visit, which reflects the profound institutional interest in strengthening the humanitarian giving system pursued by the United Arab Emirates.
The two sides held a meeting during which they reviewed the most prominent sustainable projects and qualitative humanitarian initiatives undertaken by the Dubai Charity Association at both the local and international levels, as well as the association's role and activity in serving the community.
